This course builds on the 3D motion graphics fundamentals covered in ANI 463 : 3D Motion Graphics. This course will include demonstrations and workshops on advanced features and rendering techniques using Maxon Cinema 4D and Redshift, a production render engine used in the motion graphics and VFX industry. Students will follow industry design and production processes to create professional motion design and art. Topics will include: Using Mograph tools to drive Redshift parameters, shader building and compositing, Global Illumination principles and concepts, advanced lighting and texturing, camera attributes, compositing and optimization.
