Catalog description
This course is designed to equip students with the advanced technical and organizational skills needed to excel as editors in Avid Media Composer. With a focus on both the creative and technical aspects of editing, students will explore dynamic tools and techniques - such as advanced color grading - to enhance their storytelling. Through hands-on work with narrative and documentary footage, students will progress from logging footage to picture lock, gaining expertise in post-production workflows. Additionally, this course prepares students to achieve Avid certification, building the skills necessary to tackle real-world editing challenges with confidence.
